About this role

Entry-level Software Development professional. Responsible for assisting with developing and executing a Development Operations (DevOps) strategy to ensure quality software deployments and overall application health and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assists with the development of various categories of software for applications and operating systems.
• Assists with development, coding, testing and debugging new software or enhancements to existing software.
• Assists the technical staff with understanding and resolving software problems.
• Assists with planning for future platform requirements to support business needs.
• Assists with quality assurance audits across software platforms to confirm accuracy.

Basic Qualifications

• Boot camp certificate, or any professional training in web application development
• At least 3 months experience or practice with the following technologies:
  • REACT, HTML, CSS, REST API, (TypeScript or JavaScript), (Mongodb or Firebase or NoSQL or Postgresql or Mysql), (Microservices and Monolithic).

Preferred Qualifications

Other qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:

• We are open for fresh graduate candidates.
• College or Bachelor’s degree in computer science is an asset.
• 1 year or plus Full Stack development professional experience is ideal.
• Good knowledge with the following technologies is a great asset:
  • Angular.js, Node.js, Express library, Fastify, GraphQL, Google Cloud Platform (GCP),

Additional details:

• This position is 100% remote within Canada.
• No traveling is required.
